Since my youth I have always been fascinated by the power and complexity of the human psyche. At the age of fifteen I not only began studying psychology at school but began my discovery of astrology as well. Both of these disciplines have granted me countless insights into the nature and working of our inner being. My subsequent work with meditation and energetic therapies have expanded these insights exponentially.
After my study at the University of Massachusetts, I travelled to the People’s Republic of China in 1983, where I worked as English teacher at Xinan Jiaotong Daxue for two years. I spent my vacations travelling through all the provinces, and upon completion of my contract travelled through Tibet to Nepal. I spent almost two years in Kathmandu and travelling in India, where I absorbed the deep spirituality practiced in the lands. Through my experiences in these countries, I gained a great deal of understanding for the universal qualities people share, which are not dependent on culture or background. I was immersed in Eastern spirituality in my daily life, and this had a profound effect on my further development as a person as well as an astrologer.
In 1987 I travelled to Europe where I spent several months exploring various countries before settling in Amsterdam. For 10 years I worked as freelance language teacher at businesses throughout the country, and in 2000 as a teacher of English as a Second Language at high school level. I studied Buddhist meditation, various forms of meditation and therapy, and completed a 5-year diploma program as professional astrology counselor. In 2001 I opened my practice for consultations and workshops in astrology. Later in 2008 I studied Structural Astrology with its developer, George Bode. Upon completion of the two-year Master Classes, I held Supervision groups in Structural Astrology, began writing articles and delivering lectures, both nationally and internationally. Since 2016 I have been lecturer in a 4-year professional astrology degree program. For the past two years I have been writing a book about my particular form of ground-breaking astrology, which I call Structural Noetic Astrology
I have benefited immensely from the various courses and degree programs I have taken part in. Still, my greatest source of wisdom has been the experiences and developments in my own life.
I know how difficult it can be to work through problems in work , relationships, and family (of origin).
I also know that there is real reason to expect your life to improve, if you make the effort that is asked of you.
I would be most grateful to be able to help you on this path.es
